Who are we:
Keen to join the epic crew at Team Event?
We’re a passionate, creative team that lives and breathes live experiences. Based in Christchurch, Team Event is behind some of New Zealand’s most iconic festivals and large-scale events — including Electric Avenue Music Festival, Great Kiwi Beer Festival, South Island Wine & Food Festival, Nostalgia Festival, and the Live in the Park concert series.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a content superstar to help us level up our digital presence and connect with our audiences in bold, exciting ways.
The role:
- Produce and edit high-quality videos, images, and graphics to showcase our products and brand personality, using tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
- Create engaging written, visual, and multimedia content that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience across multiple platforms.
- Assist in the design and development of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, packaging, signage, and other branded assets.
- Manage and execute content calendars, including planning, scheduling, and posting organic content across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Monitor social trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure content remains fresh, relevant, and optimised for reach and engagement.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to align content with campaign goals, leveraging insights and performance data to continually refine our approach.
- Support website content updates (e.g., WordPress or similar platforms) — experience preferred but not essential.
- Contribute creative ideas and storytelling concepts for digital campaigns, staying ahead of emerging formats and evolving audience expectations.
Who you are:
- Experience in content creation is preferred.
- High working knowledge and skills in graphic design tools and editing tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Passionate about social media and up to date with the latest trends.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to work in a fast past and growing business.
What we offer:
- Opportunity for the role to grow with the right person.
- Flexible working conditions in a fast-paced environment.
- A chance to work on some of New Zealand’s biggest and most-loved events.
